What is i-Ready?

i-Ready is a computer-based assessment that helps us see what your child already knows and which skills they may need more support with. Teachers use the results to better understand student needs and plan instruction.

When will students take i-Ready?

• August 19: i-Ready ELA testing (middle school students only)

• August 26: i-Ready Math testing (middle school students only)

Please make sure your child arrives at school on time and ready to learn on testing days.

How will we use the results?

Teachers will use i-Ready results to identify areas of strength and areas where students may need additional practice or support. The results help us plan instruction and provide students with the support they need to be successful.

Please help your child arrive at school on time and encourage them to eat a healthy breakfast before school. Being on time, having breakfast, and coming to school ready to learn can help students do their best on testing days throughout the school year.
